The provision maps will be created using:
Provision maps will detail:
The provision your child receives is continually assessed for impact and progress by your class teacher, and, at three points during the year, the provision maps will be formally assessed and rebuilt with parental and child input too. Sometimes, this review of the provision will lead to your child making progress and coming off the SEND register. Other times, we may decide to carry an intervention forward, or change the intervention depending on how your child is responding to it. Please see our identification flowchart below which outlines the route of support for your child.
When will you meet with school regarding your child's provision and support?
Our door is always open and our teachers and SENDCo are always happy to talk to you about any support or concerns you have. Please see your offer below:
This whole process is an 'assess, plan, do review' model and in line with the Worcestershire Children's First offer which all Worcestershire schools follow; it is named The Graduated Approach. It ensures that children are receiving the right intervention for their need and that the intervention is impactful, purposeful and promoting progress.
