Welcome!

A very warm welcome to our Year 1 and 2 class! We have a classroom filled with fun, creative learning and kindness. Our two class teachers are Mr Jones and Mrs Voce, while we also have Miss Pyne as our wonderful learning assistant. We will also be regularly joined by many other members of our fantastic team of learning assistants.

In Summer 2, we will continue to learn lots of exciting, new things with enjoyable and immersive lessons. Our Geography topic for Summer 2 is all about Shanghai, learning all about the Chinese city and what it would be like to live there. For Year 1s, maths will focus on numbers up to 100, money and time! Year 2s will build their knowledge of time, statistics, position and direction! Our English lessons will be based on The Tempest, with various writing skills being built from lessons surrounding this book.
