Welcome!

A very warm welcome to our Year 1 and 2 class! We have a classroom filled with fun, creative learning and kindness. Our two class teachers are Mr Jones and Mrs Voce, while we also have Miss Pyne as our wonderful learning assistant. We will also be regularly joined by many other members of our fantastic team of learning assistants.

Autumn 1

In Autumn 1, we will learn lots of exciting, new things with enjoyable and immersive lessons. Our History topic for Autumn 1 is all about how we make our own History. For Year 1s, maths will focus on place value within 10, while Year 2s will build their knowledge of place value up to 100! Our English lessons will be based on the story Meesha Makes Friends, with various writing skills being built from lessons surrounding this book, including writing a diary entry.
