Welcome!

A very warm welcome to our Year 1 and 2 class! We have a classroom filled with fun, creative learning and kindness. Our two class teachers are Mr Jones and Mrs Voce, while we also have Miss Pyne as our wonderful learning assistant. We will also be regularly joined by many other members of our fantastic team of learning assistants.

Summer 1

In Summer 1, we will learn lots of exciting, new things with enjoyable and immersive lessons. Our History topic for Summer 1 is all about how we learned to fly! For Year 1s, maths will focus on fractions, position and direction, while Year 2s will build their knowledge of mass, capacity, temperature and fractions! Our English lessons will be based on the story Somebody Swallowed Stanley, with various writing skills being built from lessons surrounding this book.
