Adaptations Made to our Curriculum in Response to Lockdown January 2021

In response to the partial closure of schools during 2020 and 2021, we have made the following additions and adaptations to our curriculum whilst continuing to provide a broad and balanced curriculum.

Increased opportunities for exercise

Booster after school Tutor sessions run for some pupils during Summer term

Emphasis on PHSE skills/mental well being

 

Reception

Baseline assessment  of all key areas.

Priority actions

Additional opportunities for play based learning.

Develop Pre-cursive formation

Develop fine motor skills, including using cutlery

Dressing independently

Key skills early writing, reading and maths intervention groups

Our provision is flexible and we will respond to pupil need at point of teaching and through our ongoing assessment cycle.
